Blue + Yellow = Chipper

I'm not typically drawn to yellow. But, when it's pared with blue it creates a fresh, zippy look. There is something very energetic about blue and yellow rooms. The two colors just work well together just look at the sun and the sky or a Van Gogh painting!

COOL- balt

Good morning sunshine! I am sure taking delight in the light peaking in on these dark inky blue walls. I enjoy the rich cobalt pigments smeared on walls and printed on fabrics & ceramics.

{My current Obsession}

I don't exactly know why but I can't not stop thinking about this room by Tom Scheerer. I have been obsessing over it all week. It may be that summer is here and this room feels so airy, light and fresh. I love the curvilinear bentwood with the cubed metal bed and the damask print with the ikat pillow. I think what really gets me is the color! If I had to pick one color that best describes me this would be pretty darn close. I just swoon clear blues they feel so free to me. I may just have to paint my living room this Benjamin Moore Icing on the cake.

#1 Crush

Yes Please...I want this room! I love the crispness of the blue and white. The contrasting patterns of the ginger jars, stripes, and ikat.
